Students of the IPACS Presidential Academy shared their impressions of participating in the Forum “Russia-Africa: What’s next?” at MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
Olga Kamenchan, a 3rd year student in the program “Financial Control and Government Audit”, noted:
“It was incredibly inspiring and educational for me to take part in the III International Forum “Russia – Africa: What’s Next?” It was interesting to participate in the forum events, united around the global ideas of combating fakes, developing academic tourism, government support for youth projects and promoting youth entrepreneurship. This makes it clear that the forum is not only a platform for discussing current problems, but also a place where specific goals and objectives for future cooperation between Russia and Africa are discussed.”
Alina Voronchikhina, a 2nd year student in the program “Management of International Projects and Programs”, shared:
“Together with the International Club, we attended the expert discussion “Russia and Africa together for food security.” Considering that the food problem both in the world and in Africa is one of the most acute, it was extremely useful to learn first-hand about current projects, achievements and plans in the field of fertilizer production and stimulating agricultural development. The discussion was productive and entertaining to watch.”
