Students of the IPACS RANEPA visited the scientific student forum of the Faculty of Management and Politics of the MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation «The Case of the First-2023», which was held from March 13th to 17th. The business program of the Forum included lectures, round tables, discussions and workshops from leading political and public figures on topical issues.
Anton Pavlov, a 1st year student in the program “Effective Public Administration”, spoke at the round table, which was dedicated to the mechanisms of managing a smart city. The speaker highlighted the topic: «Methods of managing a smart city.» Also at the round table, students discussed topical issues of modern and future IT technologies and the problems of their use in smart cities in the area of economy, ecology, transport and public safety.
“It was my first performance of this format. I am very glad that students of Moscow universities are cooperating and taking part in the discussion of important issues. Issue of digitalization of Russian cities and the creation of a city of the future was on the agenda. For my report, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of not only foreign practice, but also domestic. The most technological city in Russia, Innopolis, was taken as an example,” Anton Pavlov shared his impressions.
Yegor Medin, a 1st year student in the program “Politics and Law”, said:
“I was pleased to take part in the forum. “Thanks to the forum, I learned a lot about the history of our country, as well as about the present and future actions of Russia in the domestic and international arenas.”
Victoria Nesterova, 1st year student of the Political Journalism program, said:
“The forum was great! I met interesting people and learned a lot of new things. I had a great time, if I have the opportunity, I will come again.”
The event ended with a solemn ceremony, where all participants could see an interesting cultural program with the numbers of the creative club «SGP DRAMA THEATER».
