Seminar: “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”.
In an interview, Elena Ermolaeva spoke about the pace of development of the digital economy, especially how this situation is in Russia: “… the recent development of the digital economy is simply amazing, we are also faced with computer solutions that radically change our economy, which is why a large number of countries today spend most of their budget on the development of the digital economy, and Russia participates in this competition on the world market…”. Of course, Russia has a great potential, which is confirmed by the developed scientific and technical base, the presence of a group of digital companies, as well as platforms with international participation, there is a visible population of “unicorn companies”.
In addition, the main advantages of digitalization for the state were considered, namely: significant digital dividends in the form of accelerating economic growth, increasing the number of jobs, improving the quality of services. But despite this, there are certain problems in the position of technology companies. At the moment, there is a certain unification of technological platforms, as well as obvious standardization and conflict between a positive impact on the consumer and a negative impact on competitors.
