On 25 November, as part of the “Italian Week” IPACS RANEPA held a lecture on «Italian foreign policy during the Second Republic». The speaker of the lecture was Andrea Giannotti, Director of the Institute for Eurasian Studies.

Students examined the main directions of foreign policy in Italy and analyzed in detail each of the historical periods, as well as the foreign policy course of the country as a whole. They also examined the activities of the government and prominent politicians against the backdrop of significant historical events.

At the end of the lecture Andrea Giannotti gave a detailed description of the current stage of implementation of foreign policy and also revealed the essence of relations between Russia and Italy.

We would like to express our gratitude to Mr Giannotti on behalf of the Institute and the International Cooperation Department for his active participation in the significant events of the Academy.
